Telehealth therapy in Oregon coming soon to new york
My approach to therapy is first and foremost trauma informed. I work through a humanistic lens creating a non-judgemental space for each individual to be heard and valued. I cherish the therapeutic relationship with my clients and want them to feel they can share their stories, process their experiences and find a sense of peace. I tailor my approach to each individual's specific needs and will use evidence based techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy , Interpersonal Attachment Based Psychotherapy and EMDR to address areas of concern. Therapy itself can be challenging so I am not afraid to bring a sense of humor, a touch of sarcasm (as appropriate) and an attitude of kick off your shoes and let’s get into it, I am here for it all!
She/Her, Licensed Clinical Social Worker
I was born and raised in upstate New York in the Catskills region and have lived throughout the Pacific Northwest for 13 years.
I love hiking and camping as well as easy trail walks with my family and doggo and summer trips to the lakes of central New York.
I enjoy experiencing diverse food cultures and most if not all my vacations are centered around finding the next best bite of something native to that area.
These days, you can find me at home with my two kids, my husband and animals, puttering around the woods, bird watching and exploring.
I enjoy working with a wide variety of clients and issues. I carry a strong passion for working with women’s concerns such as shame, low self worth, perinatal and postpartum journey’s, attachment, communication, intimacy both with self and others, PTSD, complex trauma and other trauma related stressors. I particularly enjoy working with any birthing person through their perinatal and postpartum experience.
